The interior design intention was that the rooms have a Parisian apartment feel, populated with photographs hung in a traditional French ‘Salon’ style. Global Art Projects was engaged to commission 2,500 photographs for 350 hotel rooms at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins from both artist Jon Rendell and Claire Ropartz.
