French photographer, Claire grew up in Paris and moved to Melbourne in 2008. She developed a love and passion for photography through her travels from a young age and the inspiration provided by her own city of Paris.
Claire uses the opportunity to combine photography and travel with the intention of sharing her images with people from different cultures and environments. This is seen through the photojournalistic flair which is demonstrated in her work which has been shown in various exhibitions in Paris, London, and Melbourne.
The artist industry knowledge with her Parisian roots, her insights in how she sees the world and eye for detail is reflected in all her artwork. Being worldly and always on an adventure gives Claire the ability to bring the worlds of her hometown cities together.
Her aim is to delight the viewer by delivering interesting and aesthetic artwork, whilst providing an insight into the way she sees the world. Claire Ropartz is a creative collaborator who has leading edge net zero thinking for the planning and production of a sustainable future. Global Art projects (www.gap.net.au) was engaged to commission 2,500 photographs for 350 hotel rooms at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins from photographer Jon Rendell and Claire Ropartz which showcase the architecture and unique and iconic attributes of both cities Melbourne and Paris.
